ENTER OUR FIRST CHRISTMAS LIGHTS & DECORATIONS CONTEST!

The Monroe County Herald is offering a Christmas Lights & Decorations Contest this month. Co-sponsoring this contest are The GIA Foundation, Bank of Brinkley, 1st Commercial Bank, Merchants & Planters Bank and 1st National Bank of Eastern Arkansas.

There will be cash prizes awarded: $300 for First Place, $200 for Second Place, and $100 for Third Place. The contest is open to any home or business in Monroe County. Enter by submitting your photos, name and address to us by 6 pm on Tuesday, December 15. Your home or business will be added to an interactive Holiday Lights Tour map. Please submit a jpg, png or pdf file. PLEASE DO NOT USE GOOGLE DRIVE!

Readers will vote for their favorites on our website and Facebook page. They can also vote on the Facebook pages of our sponsors. Voting will be from December 17 - December 27.

Winners will be announced in our January 1, 2021 edition. Prizes will be awarded the first week of January.
