Update for Brinkley Water Dept.

Brinkley Water Department Manager Rob Parkman reported an update for customers.

The chemicals needed to remedy the discoloration in the water were unable to be delivered to us due to the hazardous road conditions. Discoloration will continue until the appropriate chemicals can be obtained.

The chlorine level is being run higher than usual and the water is safe. Rob is staying at the plant round the clock and flushing /washing hourly. No boil order is being issued at this point.
