Bennett fights to get first down for the Eagles

Marvell Academy’s Ryce Bennett (#20) of Clarendon fights through a flock of T-Birds to get a first down for the Eagles. The Marvell Academy Eagles hosted the DeSoto T-Birds in a non-conference game on Friday, September 16th, 2022. The bragging rights for the annual rivalry game, which has been dubbed the Phillips County Super Bowl or the Battle of the Birds, went to the T-Birds this year. The final score was 38-22. The Eagles have had several setbacks due to injuries on the field.
