Donald Glenn Fuller

November 23, 2022

Donald Glenn Fuller was born on March 27, 1958, to Donald Wilson and Betty Jean Fuller. The family made their home in Brinkley where Donald shared in childhood memories along with one sister, Debra. He received formal education through the public schools and graduated from Brinkley High School in 1977.

In 1975, Donald became best friends with Jan Walker. After a time of courtship, they made the choice of a lifetime commitment and married on April 7, 1978. The young couple chose to remain in Brinkley to make their home and raise a family. They were blessed with the birth of two sons, Christopher, and Daniel.

Donald loved the simple things in life, like barbequing, spending time with family and the light of his life, his precious granddaughter, Adley Rose. He also liked to deer hunt, and was a fan of the Razorbacks and Dallas Cowboys.

At the age of eight, Donald accepted Christ as his personal Saviour. As a 56-year member of the First Baptist Church he was active as deacon, loved singing in the choir and in the past taught Sunday school for the four-year-olds.
On November 15, 2022, Donald passed away at his home at the age of 64. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Glenn, and Gwendolyn Fuller; parents, Don and Betty Fuller; sister, Debra Skinner, and son Christopher Fuller.

In Jan’s words, “They went through many trials and tribulations, but the good always outweighed the bad. They found strength within each other and throughout their marriage, remained best friends.”

Donald is survived by his wife of 44 ½ years, Jan Fuller, son, Daniel Paul and wife Jennifer, granddaughters, Aida Higginbotham and Adley Rose Fuller, mother-in-law, Sally Walker and two very special young ladies, Emma Craig and Taylor Moses along with a host of extended family and friends.

Services were on Saturday, October 19, 2022, at the First Baptist Church in Brinkley with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery. Arrangements by Bob Neal & Sons Funeral Home.
