Michael Lee Creekmore May 31, 1956 - December 26, 2019

Michael Creekmore passed peacefully at his sister’s home in Laplace, LA, at the age of 63. He began his journey in life in Memphis, TN., born to the family of Virgil Lee and Hazel McCurley Creekmore. The family made the choice, to leave the state of Tennessee and make the move to Brinkley. In 1974, Michael was enrolled for his senior year and became a graduate of Brinkley High School, in 1975.
Privileged to continue his education, Michael attended East Arkansas Community College in Forrest City, along with his father. Upon completion of studies and certified in air conditioning and refrigeration, they became well known by many of the local businesses. There came time when Michael stepped back from the working and devoted his time to family and friends. He was also skilled in woodworking, and in his spare time enjoyed fixing or repairing things.
Michael was raised in the Christian faith and a long-time member of the Church of Christ, he currently attended times of worship at the Church of Christ in Memphis.
He was preceded in his journey, by his father, Virgil Lee Creekmore. He is survived by his mother, Hazel Creekmore, of Harrison; son, Travis Creekmore and wife Kristy, of Pine Bluff; brother, Jeremy Creekmore and wife Melba, of O'ahu, Hawaii; sisters, Phyllis Williams and husband Doyle, of Horn Lake, MS., Kimberly Chabert and husband Alan, of LaPlace, LA., Tami Walker of Harrison, and 2 grandchildren, Christopher and Destiny. Services were on Monday, December 30, at the Brinkley Church of Christ, with burial at McCurley Cemetery in Holly Grove. Arrangements by Bob Neal and Sons Funeral Home in Brinkley.
