Ray Anthony Lowe June 28, 1962 - January 5, 2020

Ray Lowe, of Salina, Kansas. formerly of Fargo, at his home, at the age of 57. Ray was born in Brinkley to Levertis Lowe Sr. and Clara Garrett-Lowe. He was raised in the Fargo community and attended the Brinkley Public School System and was a 1980 graduate of Brinkley High School.
While growing up in Fargo, Ray attended Union Baptist Church in Fargo. After graduating high school, he enlisted into the United States Air Force, where he served four years and received an honorable discharge. Ray was employed by Tony’s Pizza (frozen food processing plant), which later became Schwann’s for more than 30 years before retiring in late 2017.
His parents, maternal and paternal grandparents all preceded Ray in death. Survivors are: his son, Cory Lowe of Salina, KS; two daughters: Takeyla Clark, of Salina, KS; and Kelcie Scott, of McPherson, KS; five grandchildren: Tyrionna Lowe, Brianna Gills, Adalyn Lowe and Karmella Lowe, all of Salina, KS and Paxton Richno, of McPherson, KS; a brother Levertis Lowe Jr., of Midwest City, OK; a sister Veola (Raymond) Cannon, of Cotton Plant; and a host of nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 18, at the Arkansas Land and Farm Development Corporation Conference Center in Brinkley, with Reverend Larry Daniels officiating. Interment will take place at Macedonia Cemetery in Fargo by Branscumb Johnson & Gilchrest Funeral Home of Brinkley. Pallbearers were: Curtis Chunn, Cleo Harris, Ken Lowe, Sr., Michael Harris, Waylon Boston and Kaylon Boston.
