Kenneth Mixon

March 11, 1946 – Sept. 15, 2019

Kenneth Mixon, passed away suddenly at his home in Ardmore, Okla., at the age of 73. He was the son of the late Hosie and Aline Mixon of Brinkley. He attended school in Brinkley, served in the U.S. Army and was a factory worker. He loved putting puzzles together, working with leather, and gardening.

He was presided in death by his parents; a brother, Hosie Mixon Jr.; three sisters, Marie Gray, Willie Mae Bonner, and Joann Carroll.

Survivors are a brother, Everett (Jean) Mixon of Brinkley; a sister, Marian (Allen) Penrod of Maumelle; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26 at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery near Brinkley.
