Randle Lee Nofzinger November 17, 1940 - January 23, 2020

Randle Nofzinger, of Hunter, passed away on Thursday, at the age of 79. He was born at the family home located in Hunter. The second child born to the family of Dellie and Edith Nofzinger, Randle received early education at Hunter. He went on to attended Brinkley High School. It would be later through the Army G.E.D. program that Randle received his high School diploma. He then completed certification as a skilled welder from Crowley Ridge Vo-tech.
Randle served two tours of duty with the US Army and trained in the area of artillery. Along with living at bases in the U.S., he also served a time in Germany. After fulfilling his obligation, Randle received an honorable discharge in January 1967, at the level of Specialist E4. He worked for the Arkansas Highway Department and used his welding skill in the construction of bridges throughout the area.
He married Brenda Hand and the couple made their home in the small farming community of Hunter. Together they have shared in the memories and joys of raising three sons, Michael, Randy, Travis and one daughter Rachel. Over the years they were given the blessing of seeing their family grow with the addition of spouses, 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Randle was preceded in death by his parents, Dellie Leo and Edith Ervin Nofzinger, and sister, Juanita Stafford.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Nofzinger, sons, Michael Nofzinger (Batino) of Germany, Randy Nofzinger (Angela) of Hunter, and Travis Nofzinger of Hunter, and daughter Rachel Butcher also of Hunter. 8 grandchildren, Phillip Nofzinger, Randall Nofzinger III, Alexis Nofzinger, Bryce Butcher, Brayden Butcher, Madisyn Butcher, Whitney Lucas and Catherine, great grandchild, John Chandler Ashby, and sister, Roselle Daniels (Wayne) of Heber Springs.
Services were held Monday, January 27 at Bob Neal & Sons Funeral Home in Brinkley
