Terry Meredith, of Clarendon, died at the age of 59. He was born in Clarendon to the family of Thomas and Frances (Simpson) Meredith, on. He was the last born of five children in the family and remained a resident of Monroe County throughout life. He received education through the Clarendon School system, graduating with the class of 1979. During high school, Terry met Martha Morris and they began to date. After a time of courtship, they were married on December 18, 1982 in Holly Grove by Missionary Baptist pastor, Bro. Charles Flowers. A special highlight in Terry's life came with the birth of their only child, Blyss, on February 24, 1988. Through her childhood, they shared many wonderful memories of love and adventure. As time passed, she became an adult and began a family of her own and Terry was blessed with three precious grandchildren.

Terry worked at the Producers Rice Mill in Stuttgart and was well known as a hard worker. After 18 years, he chose to step back from public work. Terry also loved watching college football, hunting, and working on race cars. Special times were spent with family and friends and preparing meals out on the grill. Beginning in childhood Terry attended times of worship at the Clarendon Missionary Baptist Church.

Terry was preceded in death by; parents Thomas and Frances Meredith and sister, Brenda Meredith Rutherford. Survivors include; wife, Martha Morris Meredith of Clarendon; daughter, Blyss Thompson and husband Aaron, of Stuttgart; brothers, Henry and wife Brenda Meredith, Gary Meredith and wife Sandra, all of Clarendon; sister, Tommie Gail Lovin and husband Ken, of Clarendon, 3 grandchildren, Peyton Thompson, Ryker Thompson, and Mary Pyper Thompson; nieces and nephews, Gina Meredith Pollack, Mitchell Meredith, Jennifer Meredith Smith, Jeffrey Meredith, and Meredyth Lovin Self; special great nieces, and nephews as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Graveside Service will be held: Saturday, February 8, at 11:00 AM Shady Grove Cemetery, Hwy 86 North in Clarendon. Arrangements were made by Bob Neal & Sons Funeral Home in Clarendon. In Lieu of Flowers, memorials may be given to John 3:16 Ministries, 75 Holmes Road, Charlotte, Arkansas 72522
