Patricia Grizzle July 29, 1932 - February 9, 2020

Patricia Grizzle, of Brinkley, passed away in Nashville, Tennessee, at the age of 87. The only child of Garland and Neoshia (McRae) Roberts, she was born in Wynne and received formal education, graduating with the WHS class of 1950.

Pat accepted Jesus Christ as her savior as a child and was baptized. She was an active member of the Monroe Baptist Church for decades. She later changed her membership to the First Baptist Church in Brinkley, where she taught Sunday School. Throughout life, she was active in church and continued in a daily walk of faith.

When Pat became a wife and mother, the role as homemaker was filled with love of family and the importance of caring for their home. For most her life she also maintained employment outside the home, working as a Postmaster in Monroe, for the State of Arkansas in Clarendon, and most recently as a clerk with Producers Implement Company in Brinkley. She retired after she married Albert Grizzle.

Her first husband, Paul Flowers died in 1988. Her children, their spouses and a grandchild brought her much joy and pleasure. In time Pat and Albert Grizzle, began a friendship that led to marriage. They have been a vital part of the Brinkley community and, as a part of the Grizzle Farm family, she was well known and loved by the farming community and surrounding area.

Pat was preceded in death by parents, Garland and Neoshia Roberts and former husband, Paul Flowers. The remaining family includes: husband, Albert Grizzle of Brinkley; three children and their spouses, all who live in Tennessee, Mike and Sonia Flowers of Cordova, Jim Pat and Deana Flowers of Franklin, Sue and Mike Brunette of Spring Hill; and a granddaughter, Reagan McRae Flowers (the child of Jim Pat and Deana).

Funeral services were February 13 at Brinkley First Baptist Church with burial in Upper Cemetery. Memorials in her honor may be given to Brinkley First Baptist Church, 215 West Elm Street, Brinkley, Arkansas 72021.
