William Fred “Bill” Stinnett May 21, 1943 - January 20, 2020
Bill Stinnett, of Clarendon, passed away at the age of 76. He was born to the late John and Martha (Suggett) Stinnett. The family home was located in Clarendon where Bill received education, graduating from Clarendon High School in 1961.
He attended Bethlehem Missionary Baptist church during his youth. Bill chose to continue his walk of faith and his education at Florida Baptist College for 5 years. In 1965, he was ordained by the Oakhurst Missionary Baptists Church in Little Rock.
Bill enjoyed arts and crafts, reading, writing poetry, and children’s stories. He wrote many children’s stories and published one, advocating against bullying and violence among our youth.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers: Burl, Lonnie, David and Donald Stinnett, and a sister, Dorothy Paxton. He is survived by his son, William Stinnett, daughter, Kimberly Robinson, and 5 grandchildren.
