Lornetta Carol Brown May 20, 1977 – March 22, 2020

Lornetta Carol Brown of Olive Branch, Mississippi, formerly of Hazen, died at the age of 42 at Methodist LeBohner Medical Center in Olive Branch. She was born in Little Rock to Helen McGee and Ellimual Webb.
Lornetta received her education from the Hazen Public School System. She received her GED in 2003. While growing up in Hazen, Lornetta and her family, attended church at Holy Temple Church of God in Christ, where she was a lifetime member. She was employed as a housekeeping technician with Hampton Inn Hotel and Suites in Olive Branch for more than 5 years. She was also former employee of Holiday Inn Express for more than 2 years, also in Olive Branch.
Her parents; maternal and paternal grandparents; and a brother, Dennis McGee, all preceded her in death. Survivors are her husband, William Brown, of Olive Branch, MS; four sons, Christopher Kelly, of Hazen, Zadrian Brown, Jamarcus (Tamara) Brown and Jalen Brown. all of Olive Branch, MS; five daughters, Justice Brown, Sabrina Brown, Shelby Owens and Sharayon Brown, all of Olive Branch, MS, and Paris Hall, of Memphis, TN; two grandchildren, Shaniah “Peanut” Isom of Holly Springs, MS, and Jordan Kelly, of Hazen; a brother, Howard Burks, of Olive Branch, MS; a sister, Eva (Julius) Jarrett-Woods, of Biscoe; her father and mother-in-law, Willie Brown and Dorothy Brown, both of Olive Branch, MS; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 4 at 11 AM at Green Grove Cemetery, Highway 11 North in Hazen with Reverend Ronnie Mosby officiating. Arrangements are by Branscumb Johnson & Gilchrest Funeral Home of Brinkley.
