Dale Wayne Medford

Dale Wayne Medford, age 85, of Hunter, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at his home on December 3, 2025. Dale was born on October 26, 1940, in Brinkley, Arkansas, to Elner and Eula Fowler Medford.
Dale received his education in the Brinkley public schools and married his high school sweetheart, Anita Neal, on October 4, 1959. They made their home in Brinkley for a short time before moving to Hunter, where they remained. 
He spent his career as a farmer, dedicating over 60 years to tending the land he so loved. He was well-known and highly respected in the farming community for his hard work and dedication.  Dale's joy was found not only in his work but in his family. He loved watching his family grow over the years and took great delight in each new generation. He was a man of the land, and he imparted his love for it to his family.
Dale was also an avid hunter, often sharing his skills with his children and grandchildren, creating many cherished memories and proud member, of the Masonic Lodge. 
In childhood, Dale attended times of worship at the Methodist church, learning the value of his relationship with his Savior, Jesus Christ. A loving father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and dear friend, Dale lived a life full of love and memories to be cherished and shared throughout the years. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his loved ones and in the rich soil he tended with such care.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Elner and Eula Fowler Medford; his loving wife, Anita Neal Medford; siblings, E.B., Leon, Ed, Max, Pete, and L.V. Medford and a sister, Jeanett Clinton.
Dale is survived by his children, Mike Medford (Jana), Holly Jackson (Doug) of Hunter; siblings, Ulyses Medford (Peggy), of Brinkley, J.T. Medford of North Carolina, Eugene Medford (Donna) of Crawfordsville, Rozelle Martin of Brinkley, Emma Jean Kirkpatrick (Jimmy) of Holly Grove, three grandchildren Brandon Medford, Krystal Hunt, Aaron Medford and six great-grandchildren Brilee Medford, Brant Medford, Barett Medford, Jesse Dale Medford, Annalee Medford and Archie Medford. Services were held on Friday, December 5, 2025, at the Brinkley Convention Center, with arrangements by Bob Neal & Sons Funeral Home in Brinkley.
