Dewey Leon Nowlin,

Dewey Leon Nowlin, age 73, of Russellville, formerly of Brinkley passed away on May 6, 2026. He was born on January 13, 1953 in Brinkley to John Dewey Nowlin and Willene Deveral McGinnis Nowlin.

Leon worked in sales most of his life. He enjoyed watching baseball and working in the yeard, but most of all, he loved watching his grandchildren grow up and play sports. His faith and his family were the most important things in his life. He attended Second Baptist Church in Russellville.

Leon is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Doug Nowlin, Bobby Nowlin, and Larry Roberts. Survivors were his loving wife, Mona Nowlin of 52 years; two children, Jeramy (Lourdes) Nowlin and Kelley (Matt) Ortiz; grandchildren, Will Nowlin, Emma Nowlin, Ella Nowlin, and Tommy Nowlin; his sister, Debbie Sexton; along with a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services were Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Second Baptist Church in Russellville. Arrangements were by A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville.
