Valarie Parker Baskerville May 4, 1967 - April 5, 2020

Valarie Baskerville, of Memphis TN, passed away at the Regional One Hospital in Memphis, at the age of 52. Valarie was born in Brinkley to Samuel and Bertha Parker. She was the youngest of five siblings.

She attended Brinkley Public Schools, graduating from Brinkley High School in 1986. During the time she lived in Brinkley, her family attended the Apostolic Faith Church under the leadership of Elder Willie Harvey. Later she attended the New Covenant Church in Memphis, TN. Valarie was employed as the Activity Director at the Millington Health Care in Millington, TN.

Her father, Samuel Parker, one sister Hazel Lee Parker, and one brother Bobby Joe Parker preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband, John Baskerville, Memphis TN; her mother Bertha Lee Parker, Brinkley; three sons: Carlos (Latisha) Parker, Frederick (Carlisa) Parker both of Memphis, and Deshawn (Vanessa) Baskerville, Jonesboro; two daughters: Valencia Baskerville and Lashondra Baskerville both of Memphis: four siblings: Willie (Bobby) Parker, Memphis; Willie Mae Thomas, Wynne, Betty Pearson, Brinkley, and Larry (Sandra) Parker, Oakland, TN.

Graveside Services for Valarie Baskerville will be Saturday, April 11, 2020 at 12:00 Noon at Haven of Rest Cemetery, Brinkley, AR. Because of Arkansas COVID-19 guidelines for funerals, only the immediate family should attend. We will follow the guidelines of the executive order. Arrangements are entrusted to McNeal Coleman Funeral Home in Brinkley.
