Tomika Lashan Conway January 28, 1977 – April 9, 2020

Tomika Conway, of Little Rock, formerly of Cotton Plant, died at Cornerstone Hospital in Little Rock at the age of 43. She was born in Brinkley, to Argentry Conway Sr. and Ruby Milton-Conway. “Mika” as she was lovingly called, received her early education from the Cotton Plant Public School District in Cotton Plant. She was a 1996 graduate of Cotton Plant High School. She went on to further her educational endeavors by attending cosmetology school at Arkansas Beauty School in Little Rock.
Tomika had been attending church services at Eagle Saints Church in Little Rock. While growing up in Cotton Plant, she and her family attended church at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend W.L. Palmer. Tomika worked as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant for several years. She was a former employee of Home Instead Senior Care of Little Rock for several years before her health began to fail.
Her parents; a daughter, Takedria Aldridge; and four brothers, Larry Conway, James Conway, Curtis Conway and Dennis Conway; and three sisters, Laura Conway, Brenda Conway and Alberta Conway, all preceded her in death. Survivors are a son, Johnny Aldridge IV of Searcy; three daughters, Tashara (Derius) Aldridge, Ta’layasia Aldridge and Saraila Durham, all of North Little Rock; five grandchildren, Kemari Perrin, Jaceon Lewis, Desiree Perrin, and Deslynn Perrin, all of Little Rock, and Kaydence Aldridge, of Searcy; six brothers, Argentry Conway Jr., of Lorraine, OH, Adam Conway, of Cotton Plant, Glenn (Pam) Conway, of Douglasville, GA, Ricky (Mary) Conway, Roy Conway, and Dewayne Conway Sr., all of Little Rock; six sisters, Betty Benson and Alice Faye Conway, both of Little Rock, Dywanda (Preston) Bovan and Lacresia Conway, both of Cotton Plant, Wendy Conway, of Arlington, TX, and Barbara (Maurice) Shell, of Newport; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services were April 18 at Morning Star Cemetery in Cotton Plant with Reverend Roy Blackman officiating. Arrangements were by Branscumb Johnson & Gilchrest Funeral Home of Brinkley.
