Andrea Jeanette Ford December 03, 1943 - April 19, 2020

Andrea Jeanette Ford, of Brinkley, passed away at home, at the age of 76. She was born in Memphis, TN to the family of Andrew and Mable Merkle. The family home was located in Wheatley at the time of her birth and in time, she was blessed to help welcome a little sister, Geline, to the family.

She received formal education in the nearby community of Brinkley and graduated with the high school class of 1962. Andrea went on to continue her education with one year of studies at Arkansas State University. She was blessed in life to become a homemaker and mother of two children, son, Allen, and daughter, Jamie. As time passed, she was given the added joys of seeing her family grow with the addition of one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

Andrea was proceeded in death by her parents, Andrew and Mable Shepherd Merkle. She is survived by son, Allen Byers and wife Kim of Brinkley; daughter, Jamie Byers of Hunter; one grandchild, Tristan Byers of Fort Bragg, N.C.; one great-grandchild Natalie Byers of Searcy; one sister, Geline and Tommy Lawrence, of Brinkley; and two nephews Jeff and Tommy Lawrence Jr.
