Henry Lee Stewart April 26, 1966 - May 2, 2020

Lee Stewart, age 54 and formerly of Clarendon, passed away at his home in Oxford, Mississippi. A son of Henry and Jayne Stewart, he was born in Stuttgart. The family lived in Clarendon, where Lee became a 1984 graduate of Clarendon High School. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church also in Clarendon.

Lee and Kim Bracken were married June 23, 2002 in Las Vegas. They lived in Brinkley for a time before moving to Mississippi. Beginning early in life, Lee acquired a deep love for farming and gardening. When he and Kim moved to Oxford, they began Stewart Farms Fresh, the first aquaponics farming operation in the state.

Lee enjoyed many activities in everyday life, from deer and duck hunting in winter to lounging on the beach in summer. Special times were spent with the coffee shop group, eating yogurt at YaYa's with the grandchildren and grilling a fine meal for family and friends.

He was preceded in death by one son, Cody Stewart. Immediate surviving family includes his: wife, Kim Stewart; two children, Henry Teale Stewart of Corona, California and Cecily Lauren Stewart of Helena-West Helena; two grandchildren, Callie Stewart and Leigh Catherine Whaley; father, Henry Stewart, Sr., mother, Jayne Stewart Kerr; brothers, Terry Stewart of Southaven, Mississippi and Ronnie Wolfe of Rosco, Louisiana; sisters and their spouses, Susanne and Tim Strain of Holly Grove and Dana and Trent Crick of Stuttgart.

Graveside services were May 7 at Shady Grove Cemetery in Clarendon by the Bob Neal & Sons Funeral Home.
