Pamela Padget January 8, 1945 – June 19, 2020

Pamela Padget of Brinkley passed away at the age of 75. Life for Pamela Padget began in the northern California community of Dunsmuir. The firstborn of three children in the family of DeWitt and Bessie (Leeper) Plank. At some point the family moved to Eldon, Iowa, where Pam received formal education in the local school, graduating with the 1962 class of Cardinal High School.
Pam and Gary Padget were married July 18, 1988, in Huntsville, and lived in several areas around the state of including Huntsville, Dogpatch, and Marshall. They eventually settled in Brinkley, where they shared ownership of Southern Paramedic Service. Pam was a certified paramedic and for the past 17 years, helped many residents of Monroe County in their stressful times of emergency physical needs.
She was blessed to become a wife and later the mother of three children. As her children began families of their own, she accepted the role of grandmother and great-grandmother with much passion. Born with a kind and friendly manner, she also welcomed friendship from others in the community. She had a special love and compassion for animals and enjoyed caring for her canine family through the years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewitt and Bessie Plank; and two brothers, Donald and Vance Plank. Survivors are her husband, Gary Padget of Brinkley; a son, Russell Hamilton and wife, Anne, of Brinkley; two daughters, Dee Ann Hamilton, of Russellville, and Tonya Sue Maloy and husband, Trent, of Brinkley; grandchildren, Cassandra Heitmeyer, Alexis Frangis, Sabrina Ryan, Michaela Vice, Dylan Maloy, and Harley Maloy; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Heitmeyer, Natalie Heitmeyer, and Rylie Vice; a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services were Wednesday, June 24 at Bob Neal & Sons Funeral Home in Brinkley. Arrangements were by Bob Neal & Sons Funeral Home of Brinkley.
