Haman Hugo Allen Jr. May 1, 1922 - June 28, 2020

H.H. Allen passed away in Searcy at the age of 98. He was born in Gregory to the late H.H., Sr. and Florence Martin Allen. He is formerly from Cotton Plant.
H.H. was a mechanic by trade. He was Church of Christ by faith and his favorite pastimes including fishing, hunting, or anything else outdoors related. Dancing was a hobby and it was not difficult to get a lady to accompany him to the dance floor. H.H. was a proud 32nd degree Mason as well.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Lorraine Haynes Allen; one son, Clois Allen; a brother, Herbert Allen; and three sisters, Loraine Reed, Ella Reed, and Genova Higginbotham. He leaves behind two sons, Cecil James (Melissa) Allen, and Eddie (Betty) Allen; five grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

Graveside service was held July 2 at Cotton Plant Cemetery. Arrangements were provided by Fowler Funeral Home, Brinkley.
