Barbra Jane Eddleman July 21, 1936 – August 20, 2020

Barbra Jane Monroe Eddleman passed away at UAMS Hospital in Little Rock after an extended illness at the age of 84. Barbra was born to Hershel O. Monroe and Evadoice Jones Monroe in Moro. She was married to William Homer Eddleman, Jr. on September 3, 1955.

Barbra was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.O. Monroe; her husband, William Homer Eddleman, Jr.; and sisters, Linda Lou Clark and Brenda Carpenter. Survivors include her three sons, Roger Eddleman (Karen), of Shepherdstown, WV, Ron Eddleman, of Atlanta, GA, and Rick Eddleman (Tammy), of Hernando, MS; three amazing and accomplished grandchildren, Matthew Eddleman (Claire), of Chesapeake Beach, MD, Dr. Sara Eddleman, of Memphis, TN, and Amanda Eddleman, of Hernando, MS; three brothers, Charles Monroe (Sharon), and Allen Monroe (Sandy), of Dallas, and Jim Monroe, of Oklahoma City; three sisters, Myritha Mitchell (Eugene), of Brinkley, Sharon Ward, of Jacksonville, and Gail Ward (Walter), of St. Louis, MO; and her dearest friend since third grade, Louise Holloway, of Wheatley.

Services will be Saturday, August 29 at the Brinkley Church of Christ with visitation at 2:00 and memorial celebration at 3:00. Wayne Herring and Ron Eddleman will be officiating. Bob Neal and Sons Funeral Home of Brinkley are in charge of arrangements.
