Rachael Ann Parrish January 29, 1948 – August 20, 2020

Rachael Ann Parrish of Clarendon passed away in North Little Rock at the age of 72. She was born in Prescott to the late Julian Lankford and Pauline Lankford (Albert) Mackey. She was adopted as a baby to the late James and Jimmie Dot Lankford. Rachael loved to travel, go to the hills to swim, and to be in the outdoors. And as the saying goes, if Lonnie liked it, so did Rachael.
She was of the Pentecostal faith and was a member of The Word of Truth Church near Henderson Corner, where she loved to play the bass guitar for the congregation.
Rachael is preceded in death by her parents; son, James "Russell" Lathem; and daughter, Mildred Ann Parrish. She is survived by her husband of forty-seven years, Lonnie Parrish; three sisters-in-law, Grace (late Wayne) Clark, Sue (late Wilburn) Julian, and Clara (late Robert) Spears; a host of nieces and nephews; and other extended family members.
Funeral service was Saturday, August 22 at Fowler Funeral Home in Brinkley. Interment followed at Upper Cemetery in Brinkley.
