Daniel Beau Joshlin November 22, 1982 - September 6, 2020

Daniel Beau Joshlin unexpectedly passed away at his home in Brinkley at the age of 37. A son of David and Lana (Bradley) Joshlin, he was born in Newport. He graduated Brinkley High School in 2001, attended Crowley Ridge Vo-Tech and received CNA training through Stuttgart Hospital.
Daniel served as assistant manager for Joshlin-Bradley Properties, LLC., and various times worked at Wal-Mart, and St Frances County Human Development Center in Forrest City.
He was a longtime member of the Church of Christ, beginning with baptism as a young child. Known to many as "Bro. Hawk", he avidly studied the Bible and eagerly shared God's Word. He also served as associate pastor at the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church on Eden Road.
Blessed with a unique and caring spirit, Daniel loved people, no matter their age, gender, race or station in life and exhibited a great tenderness for those with special needs. Through the Learning Tree Center, he proudly participated in Special Olympics at the local, state and world level. He composed poems, enjoyed singing, reading biographies and books on history and criminology. He loved wrestling, baseball and served as an honorary member of the Christian Motorcycle Association.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Glyn and Betty Joshlin, George and Alice Bradley.
Survivors include: parents, David and Lana Joshlin; brother, David Bruce Joshlin, Jr; nephew, Parker Bren Joshlin all of Brinkley; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and extended family.
Services were September 11 at the Brinkley Church of Christ with interment in Dowell Chapel Cemetery in Swifton by Bob Neal & Sons Funeral Home in Brinkley.
