Alice Faye Stovall- Swanigan October 11, 1948 - September 16, 2020

Alice Stovall-Swanigan, of Jacksonville, formerly of Brinkley, passed away at her home, at the age of 71. Alice was born in Cotton Plant to Al De’mon Stovall and Gracie Lee Flannel-Stovall.
Alice was a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Little Rock for the past 20 plus years, where she served as a member of the Women’s Mission. She was formerly a member of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Brinkley for many years, where she served as a member of the church’s Usher Board. She was a 1969 graduate of Cotton Plant Vocational High School.
Alice was formerly employed as a Seamstress for interior design with Hawkers Beechcraft in Little Rock for 2 years before retiring in 2005. She was a former employee of Maybelline manufacturing in Little Rock for from 1998 until 2001.
Survivors are: two sons: Chris (Traci) Stovall of Houston, TX; Ellious (Sheila) Swanigan of Cypress, TX; a daughter Sheila Stovall of Scott; five grandchildren: Breita Colclough of Scott; Kendell James, Tevin Brown and DeMario Brown all of Houston, TX; and Thomas Clay of Little Rock; a brother Al De’mon (Iris) Stovall of Little Rock; a sister Modell Cheatam of Detroit, MI and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 26 at 2:30 PM at Mount of Olive Ministries, 1200 North Main Street Extended in Brinkley with Pastor Dennis Edwards officiating. Interment will take place at Ebenezer Cemetery in Cotton Plant by Branscumb
