Mary Katheryn Wallace June 8, 1952 – September 28, 2020

Mary Katheryn Wallace of Brinkley passed away in North Little Rock at the age of 68. She was born in McCrory to the late Everett Harold Tucker and Pauline Fraze Tucker. She was a pharmacy technician for several years for a man who had contracted polio. She was his legs and arms as he was confined to a wheelchair. Kathy would collect the medication and fill the bottles all the while helping assist with the daily operations. She was a caregiver by nature. She took care of her sister-in-law, who was battling dementia, for several years. Most recently she stayed with Albert Grizzle six-nights-a-week caring for him until she ended up in the hospital herself. She and Albert passed away within a week of each other.
Kathy was a decades-long member of the 1st Assembly of God in Brinkley. She enjoyed singing with her family and listening to Gospel music. In her younger years, she loved to have weekend fish fries. She also enjoyed crafting, especially beaded jewelry. She will be remembered by her two children as the best mother they could have had.
Funeral services were held at the 1st Assembly of God in Brinkley on October 1. Burial followed at White Hall Cemetery in McCrory. Services were entrusted to Fowler Funeral Home of Brinkley.
