Claudie Leon "Tennie" Quinn, of De Valls Bluff, passed away at the Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, at the age of 86. A son of James and Mary (Roberts) Quinn, he was born in Palestine. He lived most of his life in Brinkley and received education through the local school.

His entire career, Tennie worked as a skilled "cutter" in the timber business. After many years of the physical challenge of operating heavy equipment, he retired to enjoy a more relaxed life.
He married Doris Wilson on October 20, 1954 and they were blessed with four children; through time he and Doris chose to travel different paths in life. In 1973, he met Edith Ann Lee and began a friendship that led to marriage on November 6, 1975. They were blessed with two daughters and the blending of their prior families provided eight children to enjoy. In 1993, they left Brinkley and moved to DeValls Bluff.
He was preceded in death by his: parents, James and Mary Quinn; son, Steve Quinn; six brothers, Earl, W.A., Alvie, Charles, Ethel and Gary Quinn, one sister, Juanita Randleas, and son-in-law, George Wallace.
Survivors include: son, Ronnie Quinn (Felicia) of Wynne; daughters, Judy Wallace of Lonoke, Lisa Pruett (Junious) of Aubrey, Robin Troy (Scott) and Tina Quinn (Jerry) all of DeValls Bluff; siblings, Avan Quinn (Sue) of Brinkley, William Quinn (Nelly) of Bradford, Billy Joe Quinn of Hazen and Mary Ann Daugherty (James) of Stillwater, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren, Ronnie Quinn, Jr., Cody Quinn, Taylor Brady, Krystan Harrison, Ryan Quinn, Chandler Simonson, George Wallace, Richard Wallace, Tana Griffin, Taylor Griffin; and nine great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were October 7 at Oakland Cemetery in DeValls Bluff by Bob Neal & Sons Funeral Home in Brinkley.
