Jewel Brown July 5, 1965 – October 4, 2020

Jewel Anthony “Rickey” Brown of Pine Bluff, formerly of Cotton Plant, passed away at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff at the age of 55. She was born in Cotton Plant to Samuel Williams and Annie Mae Brown-Williams.
“Ricochet” or “Rickey” as Jewel was lovingly known, attended the Cotton Plant Public School System. He moved to the Pine Bluff area in the 1980s. Jewel formerly attended church at Trinity Temple Church of God in Christ in Pine Bluff. She worked as a self-employed mechanic in Pine Bluff for many years. He enjoyed repairing any and all vehicles.
His parents; his daughter, Danielle Brown; two brothers, L.B. Blue and Linnie Ray Williams; and two sisters, Thelma Blue and Dinah McGahee, all preceded him in death. Survivors are his wife of 14 years, Elnora Pruiett-Brown, of Cotton Plant; a daughter, Elorise Buckely, of North Little Rock; two brothers, Johnny Blue, of Las Vegas, NV, and James (Jackie) Blue, of El Dorado; five sisters, Linda Blue, Patricia Shockley and Toni Faye Williams, all of Cotton Plant, Annie B. Mason, of Tacoma, WA, and Pauline Williams, of Tulsa, OK; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services were October 17 at Ash Grove Cemetery in Cotton Plant with Reverend James Blue officiating and by Branscumb Johnson & Gilchrest funeral Home of Brinkley.
