Dee Stephens October 24, 2014 - October 15, 2020
Dee James Stephens passed away at the Children's Hospital in Little Rock at the age of 5, the result of an automobile accident. A son of Michael and Ellen (Leder) Stephens, he was born in Little Rock and was a lifelong resident of Clarendon.
He was currently enrolled in the local kindergarten and shared many happy times with his brothers, sisters, and friends. He enjoyed all things Spiderman, celebrating birthdays and the Christmas holidays. He was happy most every day, especially if his meal consisted of chicken nuggets, French fries and a coke.
Recently, Dee was enjoying and learning about the Bible and love of Jesus by listening to "Mr. Mike" when he presented children's lessons at the Delta Acres Community Center in Clarendon.
He was preceded in death by one grandfather, Fred Leder. Survivors include his parents, Michael and Ellen Stephens; siblings, Michael, Gauge and Milan Stephens, all of Clarendon, and Halen Earls, of Ulm; grandparents, Nila Leder, of Ulm, Anthony Stephens, of Lonoke, Henry and Sheila Stephens, of DeWitt, and Buddy and Tina Harris, of Blackton; great-grandparents, Sylvia Stephens, of Clarendon, Rose Gerard, of Lonoke, Butch and Louise Hill, of Wheatley and June Browning, of Stuttgart; and special aunt, April Stephens, of Clarendon.
Graveside services were October 21 at the Franks Cemetery in Holly Grove by the Bob Neal & Sons Funeral Home in Clarendon.
