Eula Mae Geisler passed away in Brinkley at the age of 80. She was born in Rich to the late E.B. Medford Jr. and Ruth Fryer Medford. Eula worked for over 15 years as a seamstress at the Van Heusen plant in Brinkley. Being a seamstress was not just a profession for Eula, she also enjoyed sewing for her family. It didn't matter if new curtains or better hunting clothes were needed, she would effortlessly make them to the delight of all who benefited from her craft.

Family and faith was a staple in Eula's life. She was married to Clyde Geisler for over sixty years, and she was a life-long member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Brinkley. While Eula was not an outdoors person, she did not hesitate to prepare meals for her family with the ample wild game and fish that they brought in from Arkansas' various woods and waterways. It was important for Eula to have all different kinds of cakes and pies baked as well. She took pride in providing for others.

Eula is preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Richard (Shirley) Medford. Survivors are her beloved husband, Clyde; two sons, Mike (Donna Caskey) Geisler, and Mark Geisler; three brothers, Allen (Clara) Medford, Sonny (Linda) Medford, and Lonnie (Betty) Medford; two sisters, Patricia (late Billy) Flake, and Ruby (late Paul) Lujan; two grandchildren, Jack and Grant Geisler; one great-grandchild, Jacob Geisler; along with hosts and hosts of cousins, and other family and friends.

Graveside services were October 29 at Upper Cemetery in Brinkley. Arrangements were by Fowler Funeral Home of Brinkley.
